As you travel into Afissos, past the small fishing harbour and into the village with its long seafront, you arrive at a shaded square and church at the heart of this beautiful place. It is here you will come to sample some of the best local cuisine in the dozen or so restaurants that line the seafront. There are also unspoilt cafés, a traditional bakery and mini markets for your daily requirements. Afissos is renowned for the absolute clarity of its sea and beautiful beaches. Mythology tells us that it is here that Jason and his Argonauts stopped for fresh water before setting sail on their epic travels to find the Golden Fleece. The village is proud of its legendary reputation celebrating throughout the summer with the ‘Argonauticos’ shows and festivities.

The villa is named after the sea nymph Hariklo who, according to Greek mythology, was fathered by Cronus when he had the body of a horse. Just as Hariklo herself would have done, this attractive two bedroom bungalow gazes out across the azure sea. The beautiful patio enters into the open plan living room. The fully equipped kitchen has been designed to take the chore out of holiday catering. Hariklo has superb outdoor living features and terrific panoramic views toward the Pagasitic Gulf. Two pebble beaches Lagoudi and Abovos Beach as well as the blue flag beach of Kalifteri, a sand and shingle shoreline, are just three hundred metres away. They offer a good range of water sports (in high season) and superb coastal walks.
