This majestic four star Sicily hotel is set apart in secluded grounds, yet is also in the heart of Taormina with glorious views over the Bay of Naxos and nearby Mount Etna.

ROOMS

There are 88 traditionally furnished rooms with a bath or a shower, a safe, hairdryer, mini-bar, satellite TV and from June to September air-conditioning.  Standard rooms have no balcony.  We recommend the quieter “Etna” view rooms with a balcony and a partial sea view.  Some other rooms have a full sea view and a balcony. 

LIVING

Leave bustling Taormina behind as you step into the Excelsior Palace. You will feel you are stepping back in time.  The large grounds lead down to numerous steps to the superb outdoor pool open June-September.  At the end of the promontory the views are stunning.  Sunbeds and umbrellas are here, also a pool bar and in July and August there is a weekly sumptuous evening buffet with music. 

The hotel’s restaurant, public areas, lounges and bar are all so elegant and make the Excelsior an excellent choice for a relaxing holiday in Sicily. 

Catania airport is about one hour away.
