Day 1 Quito
Early flight to San Cristóbal Island. Meet the guide and transfer to the ship. Afternoon visit to Isla Lobos to see a sea lion colony.
Day 2 Quito/Isla Lobos (1B, 1L, 1D)
Morning landing at South Plaza, home to the largest population of land iguanas, for wildlife spotting opportunities and a walk through the cactus forest. In the afternoon, visit North Seymour for guided walks to observe birds and wildlife, including vast sea lion colonies.
Day 3 South Plaza/North Seymour (1B, 1L, 1D)
Visit Chinese Hat for snorkelling opportunities and to observe the birds and sea lions before taking an excursion to the beach on Las Bachas. In the afternoon, relax on the beach or swim in the crystal waters.
Day 4 Chinese Hat/Bachas Beach (1B, 1L, 1D)
Visit the Charles Darwin Research Station and the highlands of Santa Cruz to try to see giant land tortoises in the wild, then enjoy free time to shop and explore Puerto Ayora.
Day 5 Puerto Ayora (1B, 1L, 1D)
Land at Punta Cormorant on Floreana. Guided walks to observe the birds and wildlife and learn about the natural history. Visit Post Office Bay in the afternoon. Later, go snorkelling at the Corona del Diablo.
Day 6 Floreana Island (1B, 1L, 1D)
Visit Punta Suárez and Gardner Bay on Española. Guided walks to observe wildlife and free time for swimming or snorkelling.
Day 7 Punta Suárez/Bahía Gardner (1B, 1L, 1D)
Morning landing at Cerro Brujo on San Cristóbal to observe sea lions, marine iguanas, and seabirds along the beach. Continue to the dramatic Kicker Rock in the afternoon to witness the steep vertical stone walls rising from the ocean.
Day 8 Cerro Brujo/Kicker Rock (1B, 1L, 1D)
Learn about the history of the Islands at the San Cristóbal Interpretation Centre. In the afternoon, visit a small breeding centre for giant tortoises.
Day 9 Puerto Baquerizo Moreno (1B, 1L, 1D)
Land on the tiny island of Santa Fé and take a guided walk through the prickly pear forest searching for land iguanas. After navigating to Santa Cruz island, take a panga ride through the mangroves to look for bird and marine life.
Day 10 Santa Fé Island/Black Turtle Cove (1B, 1L, 1D)
Morning excursion to Playa Espumilla, one of the most idyllic beaches in the Galápagos Islands and home to thick mangroves and flamingo and sea turtle nesting sites. Continue to Puerto Egas to see the salt crater as well as a dark-sand beach and tidal pools.
Day 11 Playa Espumilla/Puerto Egas (1B, 1L, 1D)
Land at Genovesa, an old imploded volcano, to observe the massive colonies of frigatebirds, boobies, and other seabirds as well as striking volcanic cliffs rising from the ocean. Visit the sites of Darwin Bay and El Barranco.
Day 12 Genovesa Island (1B, 1L, 1D)
Visit Bartolomé for a guided tour to see the island's dramatic volcanic features before hiking to a panoramic viewpoint. Continue to Sullivan Bay on Santiago Island to witness the giant lava formations contrasting the white-coral-sand beach.
Day 13 Isla Bartolomé/Sullivan Bay (1B, 1L, 1D)
Take a morning excursion to the red sand beaches of Rábida to see a lagoon and sea lion colony. Continue to Cerro Dragón on the west coast of Santa Cruz Island to observe land iguanas and a saltwater lagoon frequented by flamingos and other species of birds.
Day 14 Rábida Island/Puerto Ayora (1B, 1L, 1D)
Spend the day on Santa Cruz Island. Visit the Charles Darwin Research Station and take an excursion to the Santa Cruz highlands to see the giant tortoises in the wild. Free time for shopping or exploring the town of Puerto Ayora.
