At the edge of a cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea, Fort Young sits on the original site of a wooden fort built by the French in 1720. Restaurants And BarsThe oceanfront Palisades Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in a lovely setting overlooking the sea; dinner menus include freshly caught seafood, tantalising Caribbean dishes and international favourites. Warner’s Bar on the waterfront is a popular local venue; it serves a mean rum punch and is the place to be at weekends. There is also a poolside bar and Bala’s lounge bar for evening cocktails as well as drinks and snacks throughout the day.

Important InformationBetween November - April cruise ships are often moored opposite the hotel or at the cruise terminal in Roseau which is located just along the waterfront from Fort Young.
