Set in 20 acres on the Puglian coast, you'll be spoilt for choice at this fairy-tale style village resort, with an incredible spa, multi-course dining affairs, array of children's facilities and impeccable hospitality. Borgo Egnazia is built in imitation of a traditional village but with luxurious add-ons including an 18-hole golf course, two beach clubs and a cooking academy. This is not your typical resort type destination, Puglia is undiscovered and so unique it oozes with authenticity. We think it makes the perfect destination for an Italian holiday with a difference.
Airport TransferThe estate sits between Brindisi and Bari Airport which are both just over 45 minutes away.
LocationBorgo Egnazia is located in the beautiful and unspoilt region of Puglia in southern Italy. It is five minutes from the local fishing village of Savelletri and 10 minutes (by shuttle) to the beach.
AccommodationThe resort’s main building, known as La Corte, houses 63 rooms. All are decorated in an elegant and contemporary style and are well appointed with air-conditioning, a private balcony, bathroom with separate bath and shower, WiFi, satellite TV and mini bar. The magnificent La Egnazia Suite boasts a large living area, private plunge pool and garden, making it a popular choice with honeymooners. Il Borgo is the heart of the resort and the rooms and townhouses here are arranged around the central piazza; the two-storey Casette are perfect for families, with a roof terrace, private patio and kitchenette. Le Ville houses a collection of lavish three bedroom villas which are ideal for larger families; more classical in style, each comes with a private pool, a fully equipped kitchen, garden and a spacious terrace.
Restaurants And BarsThere are 5 restaurants and 3 bars at Borgo Egnazia, with the culinary team overseen by Michelin-starred chef Andrea Ribaldone. Due Camini is a romantic gourmet affair, while La Frasca is a more rustic Puglian trattoria and Pescheria da Vito serves up grilled fish and seafood down by the beach. Trattoria Mia Cucina allows you to get hands-on and learn from the chefs, and there is even a special kids-only restaurant, Da Puccetta, which offers a healthy menu for your little bambinos. The al fresco Il Cortile is open during the summer months only and features a Mediterranean buffet, live cooking stations and regular barbecues. The two poolside bars serve refreshing soft drinks and cocktails during the day and the lounge bar is the place for a sundowner whilst taking in the views of the Itria Valley.
