The Son Net stands in the middle of the Tramuntana mountain range on a small hill overlooking the unspoilt village of Puigpunyent (15 minutes walk downhill). Palma is a 20 minute car ride away.

One of the oldest properties in Mallorca, the finca Son Net is an ancient manor house dating back to 1672. Many of the original natural stone-flagged floors and rustic wooden beams remain, and the classical and elegant furnishings are completely in keeping with their surroundings. There are 31 bedrooms, many overlooking the village and the hotel’s 100 foot summer swimming pool. There is a gym, two outdoor Jacuzzis and a beauty centre offering massage treatments. The ‘Oleum’ restaurant is built around an original olive press. In the summer, the more informal ‘El Gazebo’, in the rose and citrus gardens by the pool, serves fresh meat and fish dishes.
