Méribel le Chalet – traditional Alpine charm and endless skiing next to the vast Trois Vallees
Location:
The resort is perched right on the mountainside, on the doorstep of the Trois Vallées (3 Valleys) area in the Tarentaise Valley of the French Alps. It is south of the town of Moûtiers, in the Savoie region of France.
First Impressions:
Despite its intimidating position high on the mountainside, overlooking the slopes, Meribel Le Chalet is a hugely welcoming, warm and cosy resort with all the luxuries and facilities you’d want after days spent exploring the vast slopes of this world-renowned ski domain.
Who’s it for?
Couples and families with older children wanting to indulge their passion for skiing across one of the biggest ski domains in France. There are no children’s club facilities but for younger children, the resort does offer a babysitting service.
Why we love it:
Skiing right from the door into the vast and impressive Trois Vallees domain, which offers uninterrupted skiing and miles of snow-topped slopes to explore to your heart’s content.
