Part of the exclusive LEEU collection, Le Quartier Français is a romantic boutique hotel, flanked by sun-kissed mountain peaks and set within the historic heart of the Franschhoek wine region, filled with charming courtyards, private pools and intimate dining areas. Perfectly located for sightseeing, this classically elegant hotel has an intimate ambience.
Airport TransferOne-hour drive from Cape Town International airport.
LocationOn the main street of charming Franschhoek village, opposite sister hotel Leeu House.
AccommodationThere are just 21 individually decorated rooms and suites. Rooms range from 40-50 sq metres and feature a separate bath and shower, complimentary WiFi, Nespresso machine and minibar. The two Auberge Suites have private pools and open onto a flower-filled courtyard and central swimming pool. We highly recommend one of the 110 sq metre Four Quarters Suites, set around a private courtyard and each featuring a walk-in dressing room and sumptuous separate living area. The LQF Villa has three bedrooms and is based near the village, making it ideal for longer stays where its close proximity to the village allows for easy exploring.
Restaurants And BarsThere are two restaurants and a bar. The Garden Room is a light and airy space that serves breakfast and tapas-style dishes alongside stunning views of the surrounding scenery through floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors that open up into a grassy courtyard with outdoor seating. Savour delectable dishes at The Dining Room, with cuisine accompanied by fine South African vintages from the cellar, and afternoon teas replete with delightful sweet treats.
