Itinerary details
3 NIGHTS LAS VEGAS Fly into Las Vegas, a glittering oasis in the sun-baked desert. This unique city certainly doesn’t do things by halves – from hotels that are the size of towns to erupting volcanoes and waterfalls that dance to the sound of music. Stay at the glamorous Bellagio, one of Vegas' most famous hotels, and enjoy views over the Strip from your room. Included in your itinerary is a VIP Vegas tour. You will be whisked inside some of the city's most exclusive restaurants for signature dishes and drinks with an expert guide who will share insider stories and tips about Vegas, before being taken in a luxurious limo to board a helicopter. Enjoy a champagne toast before taking in the bright lights, iconic landmarks and desert setting from above. 3 NIGHTS ZION NATIONAL PARK/IVINS After picking up your Ford Mustang in Las Vegas, make your way to the red rock landscapes of Zion National Park, perhaps via the spectacular formations of the Valley of Fire State Park, just outside the city. Drive around the Virgin River and see it wind its way around the red rocks. As you enter Zion National Park, drive up to Lava Point for panoramic views over the russet landscapes. It is around these moon-like rocks that scenes for the legendary movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid were filmed. Stay at the gorgeous Cliffrose Resort, in a stunning setting overlooking the red rock canyons, a perfect base for unwinding in style in between scenic hiking trails around dramatic canyons, cliffs, lava caves and volcanic cones. You have an option to choose a private or group hike, led by expert guides. Hike through the 1,000ft canyon walls of the Narrows and along the Virgin River, and meet Utah’s majestic mustang horses. 3 NIGHTS UTAH (GRAND CANYON) America’s most popular destinations (and justifiably so), the incredible Grand Canyon. The North Rim is less crowded than other spots in the canyon, but is one of the most impressive places to view this impressive natural wonder. The beautiful Amangiri is surrounded by thousands of square miles of untouched landscapes, and is a gateway to many of the national parks in the region. Explore on foot or horseback, or by bike or boat on the Colorado River, which winds its way around the Grand Canyon and beyond. The hotel’s Experience Team is on hand to personalise your stay, and tailor it to your interests. The hikes on offer include treks along the Hoodoo trail, past sandstone monuments and wavy sand dunes, or to Horseshoe Bend, to the 1,000ft-deep gorge of the Colorado River, which winds its way around the Grand Canyon and beyond. Or enjoy a guided tour of the spectacular red rock masterpieces of Arches National Park, a one-hour flight away. This is also an ideal opportunity to learn about Native American culture and traditions. Back at Amangiri, cool off in the pool, set in the rocks. 3 NIGHTS SEDONA Enjoy more of these landscapes on four wheels as you drive from Amangiri to Sedona and your luxurious base at L’Auberge de Sedona. This exclusive retreat sits on the banks of Oak Creek, and looks out over the region’s famous red rock formations – settle in and enjoy your very own natural cinema from your private balcony. During your stay, enjoy a scenic private 2.5-hour hiking tour of Sedona's Red Rock State Park (included in your itinerary). Learn about the area's rich nature, culture and history with a knowledgeable guide. Head away from the crowds and stroll along the cool banks of Oak Creek in the shade of ancient cottonwoods and sycamores. Enjoy prime views of Cathedral Rock and other iconic rock formations, see petroglyphs made by ancestral Puebloans, and view the famous House of Apache Fires built by Jack and Helen Frye. Back at the hotel, we recommend unwinding in the beautiful spa - a perfect way to finish your holiday. 2 NIGHTS SCOTTSDALE Make your way to Scottsdale, in the beautiful Sonoran Desert, which offers everything from scenic hikes and eco-tours in the desert to world-class shopping and buzzing nightlife. Relax at the end of your exhilarating adventure holiday at the chic Phoenician Scottsdale, with its luxury rooms, gourmet dining and lovely pool and spa. At the end of your stay, you will drive to Phoenix airport, where you will drop off your hire car before your flight home.- Duration: 14 nights
