Day 1 International outbound flight

Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to San José & Central Valley. Arrive in Costa Rica and transfer to your colourful and luxurious coffee plantation hotel 30 minutes away from the airport.

Day 2 Arenal Volcano

Travel in private vehicle three hours to the Arenal Volcano region, home to some of Costa Rica's best wildlife and adventure activities.

Day 3 Arenal Volcano

Enjoy a private day trip to the Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge, where in the company of your guide, you will enjoy a fascinating boat journey along the Rio Frio in search of sloth, caiman, tropical birds, monkeys and turtles. After the boat trip you'll enjoy a traditional Costa Rican lunch before returning to your hotel in the afternoon.

Day 4 Arenal Volcano

Day at leisure for relaxation in Arenal, or to arrange further tours — you might like to explore the Hanging Bridges, walk over old lava flows in the National Park, try canopy zip-lining, kayaking, rafting or relax in hot springs.

Day 5 El Silncio Lodge

Private three and a half hour transfer taking you through lush scenery ascending up through winding roads to your peaceful lodge in one of Costa Rica's quieter cloudforests.

Day 6 El Silencio Lodge

At leisure in El Silencio — admire the views from your private hot tub, or book one of the many tours on offer at the lodge such as birdwatching, cookery classes or rafting.

Day 7 Lapa Rios 

Transfer to San José for your scenic 40 minute flight to the Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica's remote jewel in its bio diverse crown.

Day 8 Lapa Rios 

Choose from a selection of Included activities at Lapa Rios — you could try jungle walks, swimming in waterfalls or learn about rainforest medicine.

Day 9 Lapa Rios

Day 10 Uvita

Enjoy a beautiful, if a little bumpy, private road transfer along the coast to your boutique hideaway near Dominical. The rest of the day is free to relax and enjoy the spectacular ocean views from the infinity pool.

Day 11 Uvita

At leisure on the Central Pacific Coast, enjoying the spectacular ocean views and relaxing in the villa's infinity pool.

Day 12 Uvita

Further relaxation in this unforgettable setting, or perhaps arrange a whale and dolphin watching tour.

Day 13 International return flight

Direct, private transfer back to San José by road.

Day 14 International return flight

Arrive home today to complete your journey.
