Definitely a four star superior hotel following a massive £7 million refurbishment and upgrade in 2016. Fantastic location directly facing Rab old town and the famous four spires on the skyline. On the seashore in Padova Bay.

ROOMS

175 air-conditioned rooms, either twin or double (request at time of booking). Satellite TV, mini-bar, safe and hairdryer. The striking new design involves a special type of light natural pine on the walls with a striking focal art feature. This gives a warm yet contemporary feel. All rooms with good sized balconies. Views are seaside or inland over trees or partial car park. Many seaside rooms enjoy excellent seaviews. Five standard suites sleep four people using one sofabed and have seaside view. Most bathrooms have walk-in shower. Rooms on the fifth floor have bath with shower.

LIVING

The big open style lounge area is stylish. Brand new lobby bar, new main buffet restaurant with huge terrace. Also large outdoor drinks terrace. Half board buffet features fresh wok and pasta stations.

On the lower ground floor leading out to the pool area, the new, (somewhat strangely named) “Food and Lounge Bar” is a cool new bistro-bar with a good choice of à la carte dishes, special drinks and cocktails. Beautifully designed using wood, stone and marble. Also on this floor is a bike store, hairdresser, souvenir shop, fashion boutique and entrance to the Roman style Wellness and Spa which has a wide range of therapies and treatments. There is a brand new larger indoor pool with relaxation beds (indoor pool usually closes in July and August). Children’s club operates in high season although the Padova tends to attract adult guests. Large outdoor pool with sunbeds and big terrace plus direct access to the waterfront. There is a Pool bar in high season. Aqua aerobics and aqua Zumba at the pool, high season. Gym and car park.

From mid June-mid September there is a free boat service from in front of the hotel to Suha Punta, one of the prettiest pebble beaches on the island. Departs morning, returns late afternoon. Book at reception the previous day. Space limited.

A stone beach is right in front of the hotel with proper built step access (not ladder) into the sea which is sandy underfoot (about three steps down). Swimming here is fabulous with Rab Town right in front of your eyes.

This is effectively a new, beautiful hotel in a superb location. Great for couples and families. Early booking is essential. 

We will get you here from Rijeka airport in about two hours (including a 10 minute ferry crossing). Also available from Zadar, Zagreb and Trieste airports. 

LOCATION

On the seashore opposite the old town, 15 minutes walk away with really gorgeous views.
