Designed by the world famous Catalan architect, Ricardo Bofill in collaboration with architect João Francisco Caires, The Vine Hotel has a refined ambience of sophistication and exuberance taking on the unmistakable style of the Spanish architect, giving maximum representation to post-modern contemporary architecture. The interior design of The Vine has been masterfully created by the Internationally acclaimed  Madeiran Designer, Nini Andrade Silva. Nini drew her inspiration from the centuries of wine production on the island together with the influence of each season.

Rooms
With each of the four floors of the hotel, the seasonal changes of the Madeiran vineyards have helped inspire and perfectly reflect the essence of Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.

The spacious rooms and suites exude quality and comfort and you will quickly feel at home with whichever season you choose. The attention to detail is uncompromising and the combination of Egyptian cotton sheets, pillows for all preferences and truly wonderful mattresses provide all the ingredients for a ‘Divine Sleep’.

Terre Lounge Restaurant & Bar
Adjacent to the hotel lobby and reception, discover Terra Lounge, with its earthy brown tones and creative design placing you in the heart of a Madeiran vineyard. An ideal place to relax at the end of a busy day, or for throwing a party to commemorate a special occasion. Terra Lounge is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as having an all day dining menu and dedicated children’s menu.

UVA - Divine Dinning
With a stunning panoramic view over the city of Funchal, Uva restaurant pays homage to the pleasure of eating, and bestows upon all who visit, an inventive cuisine of fusion that elevates the authenticity of the regional produce. Chef Anthoine Westermann, distinguished with 3 Michelin stars and renowned worldwide, presides over the kitchen, combining French savoir faire with the best regional produce.
