This Parador is set in very pretty extensive gardens on a cliff top some 250 feet above the little town of San Sebastian, the islands 'capital', with views over the sea to Tenerife.
ROOMS
The 54 twin bedded rooms, four double bedded and two larger Junior Suites are all very neat and elegantly furnished. Each has a private bathroom, satellite TV, a free safe, a hairdryer and a mini-bar. Some standard rooms have a terrace and most have views of the gardens. Superior rooms have a balcony and views towards the sea. Guests here are treated as individuals and because the gardens and pool terrace are large, one never feels crowded.
LIVING
La Gomera is a delightful quiet island, almost the perfect antidote to the busier parts of other islands. For a quiet holiday in the Canaries this is one of the best options. Visitors to La Gomera tend to relax and switch off with a couple of good books, or they do some gentle exploring of the lovely and very dramatic landscape of steep peaks and plunging ravines. The National Park conserves the uniquely beautiful plant life of the island. We can introduce you to an excellent walking guide for a wonderful day out.
The restaurant is charming and also has tables in a conservatory style area. Breakfast is buffet with hot and cold dishes and dinner is waiter served from a menu that can include some local dishes. There are lounge areas with period furniture, a small library and space to relax with an after dinner drink. The bar also has a small courtyard perhaps for morning coffee or afternoon tea, Free Wi-fi in some areas.
The swimming pool (not heated) overlooks the sea and is surrounded by sunbeds and umbrellas with a snack for lunch and refreshments.
Once the ferry reaches San Sebastian we will get you up to the Parador in just 5 minutes.

La Gomera is quiet and largely untouched by mass tourism. The Parador sits atop a 250 feet high cliff above the island’s sleepy capital, San Sebastian.
